Israel Garza
serves as our Pastor.
Pastor’s vision for POZ is to be Spirit-Led & kingdom minded church. He is a man that practices what he preaches. What we love most about our pastor, is what you see is what you get.
Johnathan Hiett
serves as Associate Pastor
and is also the
Media Ministry Director
As AP, he helps lead POZ into prayer. He’s a leader, a preacher, a teacher, helping pastor shoulder the weight of the church.
As media director, he helps run the soundboard, stage lighting, runs the POZ YouTube channel, writes and shares posts on our social media sites, & helps with the web page.
Lana Hiett
serves as Music Director. We are a church that loves to praise and worship Jesus. We do that in music, song, and through our sign teams. Lana helps bring all this together by leading our singers and musicians into prayer and praise and worship practices.
Lexi Simons
serves as our Sunday School Director. We have a great group of volunteers that work with Lexi to teach the Bible in fun and lively ways. Every 5th Sunday we also transform our church into Children’s Church with puppets, games, and kid’s sized messages
Amanda Garza
serves as our Women’s Esprit Director. POZ’s Ladies of Grace meet several times throughout the year for shopping trips, lunches, prayer meetings, & conferences.
Don Wallace
serves as our MENistry Director and is the Azuza Streetriders (ASR) Muskingum Chapter President. The men of POZ get together several times throughout the year to BBQ, golf, play softball, and attend conferences.
ASR is a motorcycle ministry that is sharing Jesus to the riding world.
Ryan & Bethany Miller
serves as our Student Ministries Director. Our Youth Ministry, Youth ALIVE, has all kinds of youth events throughout the year. While our main goal is to stay plugged in to Jesus.
Joan Miller
serves as our Compassion’s Ministry Director. One thing Jesus did constantly, was show compassion. At POZ we try to be compassionate to the needs of others. We go out and feed the homeless, visit those in hospitals and in nursing homes.
Crystal Pride
serves as our Sign Team Director. As part of worship, we have 2 signs teams. The Hands of Judah (our adult sign team) and the Angles of Jehovah (our kids sign team). Both groups help lead POZ into worship in anointed and powerful sign.
Rich Hiett
serves as our Street Level Director. Street Level has been done on the streets of Zanesville for over 30 years, and has now expanded to every county connected to Muskingum County. Street level is a ministry of prayer, out in the streets. Praying for our cities and counties in the state of Ohio.
In Need of
a Maintenance Director. Keeping our grounds looking fresh in the summer, and clean in the winter. Changing light bulbs and the occasional dry wall patch, Rich keeps us going. If you have a talent in helping to maintain the church building, contact Rich, we could always use anther helping hand.
In Need of
a House Keeping Coordinator. One of the most important ministries in the church, is keeping a clean church house. Running a vacuum, cleaning the windows, and a nice clean toilet. If you would like to help be a part of our cleaning crew, please talk to pastor.
